How to Practice Fulfillment – Your Soul’s True Longing

Life is a game of fulfilling your soul by passing the torch of inspiration on. To win, you must play from a place of confidence not dependency.

Fulfillment (noun): Oxford Dictionary
                the achievement of something desired, promised or predicted;
                to complete a process

I love to create, do and share things that inspire people to go out and pursue their goals — to stop worrying about what others think of their dreams or think of them abandoning their dreams, should they decide to do so once they begin pursuing them — to just keep dreaming, pursuing, sharing, caring and making their inner and outer world a better place.

Through blood, sweat, tears — and time, I’ve discovered that I practice fulfillment through writing, speaking and connecting with people.

If you pursue who you are, who you know you’re meant to be, you will be happier, kinder and more giving — from a place of confidence, not a place of dependency.

Wouldn’t the world be a wonderful place if everyone experienced fulfillment and shared happiness!

Oftentimes most of what we do, say and pursue comes from a (frustrated) place of wanting to be seen, heard, acknowledge and appreciated. They are feelings each of our souls longs to experience because it is what we were put here for — sharing who we are and what we have to offer to help others along their way, and help to create and maintain a caring world.

But when what we pursue comes from a frustrated place, a place of needing to be acknowledged, our soul experiences dependency. We become dependent on external adoration to fulfill our sense of having fulfilled our soul’s purpose.

However, if what we pursue comes from a place of confidence — a place of connecting with our Creator, with our talents, and honoring them by excitedly and lovingly offering them — then we’re more likely to feel deeply happy, satisfied and fulfilled.

Fulfilling your purpose will
fulfill your soul and
fill others with
practice fulfillment

If you find yourself more in search of recognition than results, there’s a strong chance your sense of fulfillment is out of sync with your soul. Re-calibrate and carry on.
