Could you be open to the idea you have much in common with your favorite authors?
One day I wondered why I like the authors I do. Diving deeper into their work, the mystery was solved, the revelations intriguing.
Dr. Seuss, Mother Goose, Winnie-the-Pooh — my favorite authors, characters, storytellers.
Dr Seuss: mastered the art of word play. Using rhythm and ridiculousness, he covered and comforted topics of imagination and seriousness.
………
Mother Goose: known to help with rhythm, rhyme, the pronunciation and cadence of reading. Also capturing our fantasy with magical stories holding deep lessons.
………
Winnie-the-Pooh: shared the power of friendship and choosing positivity even when we’re silly enough to get ourselves into sticky situations.
………
My personality certainly entwined my favorite authors. Wordplay, rhyming, the rhythm of a story, depth, and positivity carry my life and work.
